Keith Jones, President and Head Auctioneer of Sayre & Jones Auctioneers, has over 25 years of experience. A Champion Auctioneer, Keith is past president of the Indiana Auctioneers Association, the largest state association for auctioneers in the country. There he served a total of 16 years on the board.
Keith was introduced to the wonderful world of auctioneering through his father, Fred Sayre, an accomplished auctioneer and general manager of the largest auto auction in the Midwest, Greater Chicago Auto Auction. Along with Keith's mother, Lorraine, Fred built Fred Sayre Auction Co., a successful business in northwest Indiana, specializing in real estate, business liquidations and personal property. Through the years, Fred's accomplishments continued to amaze his son. He was President of the Indiana Auctioneers Association, Commissioner for the state of Indiana and was elected into the Auctioneers Hall of Fame.
Keith Jones learned from his father the correct way to run a company, starting at the bottom and working up. He learned integrity, dedication to each and every client and the importance of honesty. Those values are still what drive Sayre & Jones Auctioneers today. When Fred Sayre retired, Keith turned his focus toward fundraising/charity auctions, and has been specializing in the field ever since. It’s the satisfaction achieved through teamwork—Keith dedicating himself to the client's goals and reaching those goals. Helping his clients toward a successful event is what continues to fuel his passion.
Keith has been fortunate to have been elected President of the Indiana Auctioneers Association and to serve on that board for 16 years. He is also a Champion Auctioneer contest winner and continues to be very involved with the continuing education of all auctioneers.
